TVS X: The Most Expensive Electric Scooter in India

TVS India, a well-known two-wheeler manufacturer, launched its first electric scooter, TVS X, in August 2023. The TVS X is priced at Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most expensive electric scooter in India. The TVS X boasts of a 4.44 kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of 140 km on a single charge. The TVS X also claims to have a top speed of 105 kmph and an acceleration of 0-40 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.

Ola, a leading ride-hailing company, ventured into the electric two-wheeler market with its S1 range of e-scooters in August 2023. Ola launched three models, namely S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X, in the Indian market. The S1 range is the most affordable electric scooters in India, with ex-showroom prices of Rs 1.47 lakh, Rs 1.20 lakh and Rs 90,000 for S1 Pro, S1 Air and S1 X respectively.

Ather Energy, a pioneer in the electric two-wheeler market, launched its upgraded version of the 450 electric scooter, the 450S, in August 2023. The Ather 450S is priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and has a 2.9 kWh battery pack, which enables it to deliver a range of 115 km on a single charge. The Ather 450S is a popular choice among electric scooter enthusiasts, as it offers a smooth and responsive ride, along with a smart dashboard and connectivity features.

Simple Dot One: The Simple and Elegant Electric Scooter

Simple Energy, a new entrant in the electric two-wheeler market, launched its debut electric scooter, the Dot One, on 15th December 2023. The Dot One is priced at Rs 99,999 (introductory price) and has an 8.5 kW electric motor and a 3.7 kWh battery pack. The electric motor generates a power output of 12 bhp and 72 Nm of torque. The Dot One offers a range of 151 km on a single charge and has a simple and elegant design.

Ultraviolet Automotive, an Indian electric motorcycle manufacturer, unveiled its F99 e-bike at EICMA 2023 (International Motorcycle Exhibition) in November. The F99 is expected to be launched in India in early 2024. The F99 is the fastest electric bike in India, as it can produce 120 bhp of power and achieve a top speed of 265 kmph.

Orxa Mantis: The Longest Range Electric Bike in India

Orxa Energies, a Bengaluru-based electric motorcycle manufacturer, launched its Mantis e-bike in November 2023. The Mantis is priced at Rs 3.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and has an 8.9 kWh battery pack, which gives it a range of 221 km on a single charge. The Mantis can also reach a top speed of 135 kmph and has a sleek and sporty look.
