The first electric motorcycle produced by Matter Energy has been revealed. It’s quite cool that this electric bike has a dual-channel anti-lock braking system and a four-speed gearbox.
The Matter e-bike has a design that is reminiscent of a naked bike, complete with all-around LED lights, clip-on handlebars, split seats, and a grab rail that is divided in the back. In the space designated for the tank is a glovebox with a capacity of 5 liters and a port for charging electronic devices.
The bike includes a notification alert system, audio playback capability, and turn-by-turn navigation, all of which are shown on a 7-inch touchscreen instrument console that comes standard with the bike. Moreover, it is capable of receiving updates wirelessly over the air (OTA).
The motorcycle is powered by an electric motor with a capacity of 10.5 kW and a torque output of 520 Nm. It is connected to a gearbox that has four different speeds. The electric motorcycle is propelled by a liquid-cooled battery that has a capacity of 5 kWh and is reported to have a range of 125–150 km on a single charge.
The manufacturer states that it will take a total of 5 hours to fully charge the battery when using a 5 amps standard household socket.
