Ola Electric’s vision and strategy

Ola Electric is one of the leading players in India’s electric two-wheeler segment. The company has set up a mega-factory in Tamil Nadu that can produce up to 10 million scooters per year. The company also plans to set up charging stations across India under its Ola Hypercharger Network.

Ola Electric’s founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal said that the company has a clear vision to support India’s leadership in electrification. He said that by developing core technologies in-house and through adopting economies of scale, localized supply chains and manufacturing engineering, the company will ensure complete price parity between ICE and EV vehicles. He also said that the Gen 2 platform is a testament to this commitment.
