Shema Electric: A Pioneer in E-Mobility
In 2016, Shema Electric emerged as the first Indian company to manufacture its own low-speed electric scooters under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. To date, the company has delivered over 20,000 electric vehicles to aggregators and also marketed its products under its own brand name through an extensive dealer network across India. Additionally, Shema Electric offers after-sales service and support for customers.
On the occasion of World EV Day, Yogesh Kumar Lath, Founder & CEO of Shema Electric, shared his thoughts: “At Shema Electric, we are striving to develop a future of Indian mobility that combines energy efficiency, sustainability and cutting-edge technology. On this momentous day, we are delighted to launch two new electric scooters crafted to meet the needs for high-speed and durable two-wheelers. I’d like to extend my gratitude to our dealer network, distributors and customers, whose loyalty has allowed us to keep moving towards a fossil-free country.”
The company has also showcased its other electric scooter models, such as Gryphon, at the EV India Expo 2022 held at India Expo Centre in Greater Noida.
