Shema Electric, a leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer based in Odisha, has launched two new high-speed scooters, Eagle+ and TUFF+, for both B2B and B2C segments. The company unveiled the new products on World EV Day, September 11, 2023, at its dealer showrooms across India.
Eagle+ and TUFF+: Features, Price and Subsidies

Eagle+ and TUFF+ scooters are equipped with Sun Mobility’s water-proof, swappable battery for cost-effectiveness and greater convenience to the riders. Notably, it charges in four hours and gives a range of 130 km in a single charge. The Eagle+ is a two-wheeler meant for passengers, with 1.2 kW electric motor reaching up to 50 kmph. Moreover, the TUFF+ is a multi-utility EV loader and can accommodate a load of up to 150 kg, along with a top speed of 60 kmph.

Plus, both the scooters come with extra accessories like bluetooth speakers, anti-theft alarm, USB port for charging, and central locking system. The starting price of the Eagle+ is INR 117,199 and the TUFF+ is INR 139,999 (both ex-showroom prices). They are eligible for FAME II and state-level subsidies, applicable on certain locations.

Shema Electric: A Pioneer in E-Mobility
In 2016, Shema Electric emerged as the first Indian company to manufacture its own low-speed electric scooters under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. To date, the company has delivered over 20,000 electric vehicles to aggregators and also marketed its products under its own brand name through an extensive dealer network across India. Additionally, Shema Electric offers after-sales service and support for customers.
