Tata Motors on Friday unveiled its new electric car concept Avinya , based on the automaker’s new Pure EV third generation architecture. It is Tata Motors’ first car based on a dedicated EV platform.
According to the company, the next generation of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) Concept Electric Vehicle (EV) is a big step in this direction.
“We have set the standard for excellence and have the highest ambitions,” said N Chandrasekaran, President, Tata Group, EV, Tata Motors.
Tata Motors claims that the new Concept EV will be fully accessible to most customers in the high volume segment. The company has announced that Avinya will hit the market in early 2025.
Concept EV provides driver assistance with more well-designed safety, water and dust prevention technology.
Tata Motors’ EV subsidiary has announced the launch of Avinya in a number of tweets in the last few days.
The concept of the electric car comes in the form of a pre-production of a premium SUV with an electric powertrain. The EV gets a smooth LED stripe in the shape of a T, which stands for Tata Motors.
Tata Motors claims that the Avinya is designed to give passengers more space, dust protection, higher structural protection and improved driver support.
Seats on the Concept EV can be rotated 360 degrees. Offering a range of more than 500 kilometers, the car comes with a dual electric motor.
