Tata Motors has proven one more time that it is the No. 1 motor manufacturer in India. Yes, on Wednesday, Tata released its most awaited car, the Tiago EV. At this event, Tata revealed more details about its price, features, interior and more.
Recently tata motor announced that it will launch Tiago EV on september 28. This car costs Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Now Tiago EV is one of the cheapest electric car on sale in India. The fuel version of the Tiago car is already available on the market.
Along with this, Tata revealed more details about the Tiago EV. This price offer is only available for the first 10,000 units, of which 2000 units are limited to Tata EV owners only. Tata Tiago EV bookings will start from October this year, and deliveries will begin from January 2023.

The Tiago electric car is available in four variants, which are: XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech Lux.

Although the base model of the Tiago EV is a fuel model, it has adopted the design of an EV. The front grille of the car is designed according to the Tiago EV. Most of the car’s front grille is covered by the three arrows on the side of the headlamp. The trim head is now blue, and the EV badge is directly placed on the Front Grille.
The interior of the car has not changed. It is still the same as the standard Tiago, but the slight change is they used blue-cloured highlights, and in the top variant, the seats are made up of Leather.
The Tiago EV car has features like auto climate control, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, cruise control, rain-sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring, auto headlamps, a cooled glovebox, and a Harman audio system. It also gets ZConnect connected car technology with 45 connection elements.
Tata Motors offers two battery options for Tiago EV buyers, who can choose between a 19.2 kWh battery or a larger 24 kWh battery pack. The car comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor, but the power output depends on the battery variant.
There are two types of motors available: the small 19.3kWh battery combined with a 45 kW motor which generates 105 Nm of peak torque, and an extensive battery of 24kWh combined with a strong 55 kW motor which produces 105 Nm of torque.
The Tiago EV has a claimed range of up to 250 km on a single charge with a small pack, while a large pack offers a claimed range of 315 km per charge.
Tata offered 8 years warranty for the Battery pack with a 1.6 lakh km. The standard variant of the Tiago EV costs Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India), and this car will come on the road next January, 2023.
