Maserati New EV GranTurismo Car

Luxury auto brand Maserati plans to launch an electric version of its entire lineup by 2025, the company announced on Thursday that the new 1,200-horsepower Gran Turismo EV will launch next year.

The GranTurismo “Folgore” will be the first all-electric car of the famous Italian brand owned by Stellantis, a former Fiat Chrysler.

 The company says it will reach 190 miles per hour and 0-62 miles per hour in three seconds.

After the Gran Turismo, Maserati will launch the all-electric Grecale medium-sized SUV and the Grancabrio GT.

 By 2025, Maserati plans to add electric versions of the MC20 Supercar, Quattroporte sedan and Levante SUV.

On Thursday, CEO David Grosso described the EV transformation, which aims to fully electrify the century-old automaker by 2030.

Almost all major automakers, especially luxury vehicles such as Maserati, have announced plans for EVs to represent all or most of their sales by 2030.

Preview images of the Electric Gran Turismo, released on Thursday, show off the striking exterior design of the four-seater coupe.

Maserati has not revealed the expected price for the new EV. Its current traditional models range from around $ 78,000 to $ 200,000.
