Volvo Car Price Hike in India

Volvo Car India has announced an increase of Rs 1lakh to Rs 3lakh for all models in the previous showroom due to rising input prices. The new price will come into effect soon.

The company is working to protect the prices of customers who book a car with Volvo dealers by April 12, 2022. All bookings after this date will be subject to the new price.

At the beginning of the year the company announced price increases.

But since then, the global supply chain has been disrupted, logistics costs have risen, and fluctuations in foreign currencies have significantly increased input costs.

"Over the past few months, disruptions in the global supply chain have increased input and logistics costs, which has adversely affected Volvo Car India.

Volvo Car India has switched to all petrol models and all diesel models have been phased out and become all electric vehicle companies.

In India, Volvo has recently announced the XC60, S90 and XC90 petrol engines with 48V mild hybrid system.
