Yamaha India is reportedly building an electric scooter based on the Neo sold in the international market.

Yamaha unveiled two electric scooters at a dealer event last month. The purpose of the conference was to evaluate the response of dealer partners. It is said that dealers are not impressed with the features of Neo and E01 launched worldwide.

The Neo Hall is one of the leading designs expected to be adopted in the Indian market. The Indian variant has the potential to get a more powerful motor and a bigger battery.

Yamaha has confirmed that the Indian and Japanese teams will jointly manufacture the Neo e-scooter. The scooter will be made in India using materials purchased from local dealers.

I am very much fascinated by electric vehicles. I hope that by writing this article, I can share my knowledge of EVs with the rest of the world, particularly in India. Because EVs are the future, we should support green motors in order to save the environment.
