Which One is Good to Go With?

Well, that’s a tough question, as both the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 and the Ather 450X are great electric scooters that have their own pros and cons. However, if I had to choose one, I would probably go for the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2, and here’s why:

  • The Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 has a higher top speed of 116 kmph, compared to the Ather 450X’s 80 kmph. This means that the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 can handle highway rides better and give you more thrill and excitement.
  • Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 also has a longer riding range of 170 km in Eco mode, compared to the Ather 450X’s 70 km in Eco mode. This means that the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 can take you further on a single charge and save you from frequent charging hassles.
  • Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 has a larger battery capacity of 4 kWh, compared to the Ather 450X’s 2.23 kWh. This means that the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 can store more energy and deliver more power and torque.
  • It also has a lower price of Rs. 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom), compared to the Ather 450X’s Rs. 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Plus variant and Rs. 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pro variant. This means that the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 is more affordable and offers more value for money.

Of course, the Ather 450X has some advantages over the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 as well, such as:

  • Ather 450X has a more sporty design than the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2, which might appeal to some riders who prefer a more aggressive look and feel.
  • Ather 450X has a more advanced dashboard than the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2, which supports various features such as navigation, music control, call/SMS alerts, etc. It also has an anti-theft system and geo-fencing feature that enhance the security of the scooter.
  • Ather 450X has a lighter weight of 108 kg, compared to the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2’s 125 kg. This means that the Ather 450X might be easier to handle and maneuver in traffic and tight spaces.

Ultimately, the choice between the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 and the Ather 450X depends on your personal preference and requirements. Both these scooters are eco-friendly, futuristic, and fun to ride. You can’t go wrong with either of them, but if you ask me, I would pick the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 for its superior performance, range, battery, and price.
